All the Terra-Riser Disc Harrows utilize the Terra-Riser Timken Roller Bearing Assembly (as shown above). The sleeve allows larger bearings to be utilized as well as protecting the bearing from axle shaft impact damage. The Neoprene seals should last 1000 to 1500 hours. These bearings are able to be checked every 400 to 500 hours for proper adjustments. If end play is detected, remove shims from under bearing cap to eliminate the end play quickly and easily. The Terra-Riser bearing can be lubricated daily with a medium consistency all-purpose grease - it can even be lubricated until the grease is visible, this will cause no damage to the seal.
